Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya!

And welcome to Global South Perspectives! I am excited to use this substack space to share regular commentaries on economic development, climate policy, external debt, and broader discussions about transforming the global trade, finance, and investment architecture; and much more from a Global South perspective.

I will also use this space to share in one centralized public location my answers to important questions that I often get from the media and from participants in public events where I present my work.

My posts will be relatively short, but I will occasionally provide deep-dive longer analyses. The majority of the posts will be in English, but I will occasionally post in French and Arabic. Everything I post here can be freely quoted by the media. And finally, I will use this space to post updates about upcoming events and links to recent publications, commentaries, videos and podcasts.

I hope you will find this space useful, and that you will share it and engage with it both here and on social media. Feel free to post questions and suggestions for topics/issues that I should cover.
